… full of emotions.
I’m currently going through my archives to sort out all my work and i came across this old family picture. This is a very good one actually, cause i believe it says a lot about what kind of children the three of us were. Bram was, still is, the entertainer. Chien didn’t care, she just did what she wanted to do (aren’t all baby sisters like that? ;-). And i was just trying to be a good girl, the caring big sister … Now we are all grown up (i can hear my dad say: “oh, really?”) and gone very different ways. Bram is the sous-chef at restaurant ‘Savoury’, Chien is studying english and dutch and i’m a graphic designer. I must honestly say: they are the best brother and sister you can imagine!

I’ve created an annex to my T. logo. I’m planning on using this from now on for my ‘fun’ projects. Projects which i’m doing for my own state of mind and should contain a smile … I’m not completely sure about it though. Please let me know what you think! Is it any good or shall i start over? Or is the T. logo by itself good enough for projects with a smile too?

(first ‘fun’ experiment: doubles.)
sometimes things going wrong can turn out quite right …

In the previous post Kristel told me she had already seen the readymechs in her office. That reminded me of a ‘graffiti’ artist who is invading the world with his space invader graphics. I saw this in my street logos book.
For some time these mosaics representing the aliens from the old video game Space Invaders have been appearing in big cities. London, Paris, Tokyo, New York and others have already been attacked. On the website’s map you can see the conquered cities and the numerous invasions in that particular city. I think these invaders are all very well placed and fit the architectural history, but i can imagine some cities are not very happy with this kind of ‘graffiti’. I love it though! These invaders are a lovely exercise for the mind and without a doubt, everybody with some imagination and a sense of humour will come up with some funny stories which will make them laugh. I’m very curious about where this big invasion plan is heading towards …

For all you design nuts, get crafty and knock your favourite readymech together to decorate your desk, livingroom, … or start a puppet show.
Also check these nutcase designers’ website. They’re very good!
