Summertime!
Summertime … i look forward to it every year. I run on solar-power, i have to recharge my batteries during summer. Unfortunately this year there was not really a recharging period for me. About the time weather started to be enjoyable, we heard we had to move to Mexico within 2 months. So off we were, running around in the heath of July to arrange all the inevitable boring stuff. Visits to the embassy, city hall, doctor, dentist, city hall again … and again. Another worry was our house which we just started to renovate. How were we supposed to leave it as it was … a giant construction yard!
Once arrived in Mexico we were up for another paperwork factory … immigration. Oh my, i’m not quite efficient when it comes to bureaucracy, and apparently the Mexicans aren’t either. Believe me, things get quite messy when both parties don’t know what they’re doing.
But hey, we’re getting there … our belongings can finally be imported with the right documents and we are no longer illegals. Rainy season is now over and i can start to breath again …
It is quite strange to have a summer feeling in november. But i don’t mind.
Summertime is here … finally … and i’m lovin’ it!
