Everyone! Go check atelier v.!
These lovely inventions will definitely make you smile, and some of them might actually come in very handy around the house! (i think i will give these a go!)
They may not all be very safe, but that they are original can’t be denied!

Tageswerk is a photoblog i’ve already been folowing for quite some time. But only now i discovered Christian Baron’s second photoblog ‘feel the surface’. This special concept only contains 6 pictures until now, but i’m already a fan. I like this very personal project of his very much.

In my hometown Antwerp there is always something to do. Lots of theaters, exhibits, galleries, movie theaters and concerts brighten your night and day. When we first came to Tampico, i was afraid there was nothing cultural or artistic happening here. But luckily they were already building METRO, el espacio cultural metropolitano. Last week i went to see the ‘Rodin’ exhibit and i must say they made quite an effort on this building. The exhibit space already looks perfect, it’s a wide open industrial space with, of course, walls as white as fresh snow. In another room they had also a very good photography exhibit about mexicans crossing the border to America and the inhuman things happening over there. This ‘espacio cultural’ looks promising to me! I was curious about their theater program, but they are so new they didn’t even have a brochure printed and they couldn’t give me some actual information on the program either. So i guess i just have to go back once and a while to see what’s happening, very mexican :-) !

> i wasn’t allowed to take pictures, so this quick lomo-hipshot is the only one you’ll get. (framing in your head, twan, it works! :-)
I’m off for a couple of days. Friends of ours are getting married this weekend on the lovely island ‘Isla Mujeres’. See you on tuesday (if i’m coming back at all …).
This Pentax MZ-M went crazy today, absolutely lost his head.
He’s rewinding the film when i’ve just loaded a new one, he opens his shutter for 30 seconds when he should only expose 1/500 and he makes robot noises! So, as far as i can tell he’s physically still in good shape, but mentally disturbed. I’m quite sad about this because it was my very first analogue reflex camera and also my only one. Guess this means i’m going strictly digital for a while …
Now i can use some advise.
Shall i have this one fixed or shall i just sell it, if it’s still worth anything? I shoot a lot with my Nikon D70 and was already planning on expanding my gear into that direction. Although it will cost me more i think buying myself an analogue Nikon body would be the logical thing to do. Let me know what you think and if you have some, throw in some camera suggestions too …

> If anyone is interested in this camera (for spare parts?) or the lens (smc pentax-a, 1:4-5.6, 35-80mm), let me know!
