Recently i bought a cd on CD Baby, THE online store for independent music. And i must say i love their approach, they certainly know how to treat their clients! I couldn’t help but smiling and feeling good about my purchase while reading the following part of the order confirmation i recieved by email:
Your CD has been gently taken from our CD Baby shelves with sterilized contamination-free gloves and placed onto a satin pillow.
A team of 50 employees inspected your CD and polished it to make sure it was in the best possible condition before mailing.
Our packing specialist from Japan lit a candle and a hush fell over the crowd as he put your CD into the finest gold-lined box that money can buy.
We all had a wonderful celebration afterwards and the whole party marched down the street to the post office where the entire town of Portland waved “Bon Voyage!” to your package, on its way to you, in our private CD Baby jet on this day, Monday, June 30th.
I hope you had a wonderful time shopping at CD Baby. We sure did. Your picture is on our wall as “Customer of the Year.” We’re all exhausted but can’t wait for you to come back to CDBABY.COM!!

I can’t comment anymore on other people’s sites, all comments seem to get lost in cyberspace … how strange is that? Luckily two weeks from now i’ll finally be able to make a stop in Houston to pick up my new computer … it’s about time!
MacBook Pro

I just ordered myself a new computer. The one that gave up on me was a Power Mac G5. But since i’m traveling a lot i thought it was a bit useless to go for a new desktop computer, a notebook seemed a more obvious choice. So i ordered myself the new MacBook Pro. It’s a little scary though, spending so much money over the internet … but i’m looking forward to the delivery!

To all of you who sent me an email recently and didn’t receive a reply … you might want to resend it. Apparently i’ve set the junk mail settings too strictly and lots of emails were deleted immediatly. (Maybe cc my hotmail-adress to make sure i get it)
