Philipp Striebe cheered up my mailbox this morning … He had sent all of his friends a soundtrack instead of a christmas card. No corny christmas songs but a 2009 rewinder. Truly great! Thank you Philipp!

Dion asked how many sweet we have in our music collection …
Well, there are 26 (out of 4597) sweet songs to be found in my music library. This is the iTunes collection of course, i didn’t check all the cd’s i never digitalized.

I just remembered something my dad asked me last time i was in Belgium. “Do you have my cd of The White Stripes by any chance?”
No pops, sorry, i don’t … do you have mine of Admiral Freebee?
These guys seriously made me laugh! If you have the time, check out their site! It’ll be worth your while …

While you’re at it, check out the man’s reaction on the 7th minute of this movie … truly sorry about what his friend has done :-D (they first appear in the 5:30 minute).
I never thought i’d be listening to ol’ country legends, but i have to admit that i find Willie Nelson’s “The best of” quite enjoyable, very enjoyable even.
My love for cowboys and the wild wild west might also have something to do with that … ;)

any better?

It’s a quickie, cause i just can’t stand the big musical note in my iTunes whenever there’s no artwork available.
If someone can play the guitar - i mean really play the guitar - and make a lot of noise, they hardly need any other talents or qualities to impress me … (that makes me groupie material, i know ;-)
Although ceesau needs a new graphic designer and photographer (if you see what i mean), their music is not bad, not bad al all !!! I hope more of their guitar noise will be available on - a nicely designed - cd soon …
Boys with guitars … sigh*
Recently i bought a cd on CD Baby, THE online store for independent music. And i must say i love their approach, they certainly know how to treat their clients! I couldn’t help but smiling and feeling good about my purchase while reading the following part of the order confirmation i recieved by email:
Your CD has been gently taken from our CD Baby shelves with sterilized contamination-free gloves and placed onto a satin pillow.
A team of 50 employees inspected your CD and polished it to make sure it was in the best possible condition before mailing.
Our packing specialist from Japan lit a candle and a hush fell over the crowd as he put your CD into the finest gold-lined box that money can buy.
We all had a wonderful celebration afterwards and the whole party marched down the street to the post office where the entire town of Portland waved “Bon Voyage!” to your package, on its way to you, in our private CD Baby jet on this day, Monday, June 30th.
I hope you had a wonderful time shopping at CD Baby. We sure did. Your picture is on our wall as “Customer of the Year.” We’re all exhausted but can’t wait for you to come back to CDBABY.COM!!
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Sigh…
