I know, this blog is suffering greatly from neglect … i have a lot of work to do still and with this baby expanding my body every day, my days aren’t as productive as they used to anymore.

Most women are easily pleased with sweets and chocolates, but not me … i don’t have a sweet tooth. But now, i’m longing for a Mars-bar for 3 weeks already. Of course there’s not a single one to be found in this country. According to wikipedia they don’t make them as they used to anymore. And since my last Mars experience must date from somewhere in the nineties, there’s just no use in trying the new version. Why o why did they change the recipe??? I am a pregnant woman goddammit!
The reason that it has been very quiet here is the following.
A very unclear picture but i’m guessing you all know what i’m talking about. This little thing has made me sick for 3 whole months (it’s all worth it of course). I’m doing much better now but my energy level is still zero … some more quietness is therefore expected :-).
It’s no big surprise that the art world tends to favor the left leaning candidate during a campaign, but what might be more surprising about this years election is the sheer number of artists who are rallying around and using their talents to support Barack Obama.
The great thing about living in Mexico City is that there’s just so much to do … besides the beach we hardly had any entertainment in Tampico.
Yesterday we went to see Julieta Venegas in the ‘Auditorio Nacional‘. Great concert with great guests also! Juan Son (who was dressed as a pizza, really cool!), Natalia Lafourcade y Joselo y Memo from Café Tacvba.
