What an amazing and beautiful animation this is!
It’s a personal project by Ritxy Ostáriz. He wrote the script, illustrated all the characters and animated everything …

seen on DRAWN!
Not entirely real, still very cool!

If i only had some money to spare … i’d definitely buy one of Chris Buzelli‘s paintings. They are colourful and easy on the eye, but if you look a little closer, intriguing and mysterious as hell. Very nice work!

“We are sushi rolls.” “Indeed we are.”
I am a huge HUGE fan of Marc Johns, the man is simply a genius! I mean, his baseline alone: Marc Johns, serious drawings.
He has a website, a (regularly updated) flickr-page, a shop and a blog. How lovely. Go check it out!

Here are some paintings for you to see. I was actually looking for visuals of Pilar Climent’s work (an interior/furniture designer) when i came across Elena Climent’s paintings. Apparently the two women share a website with their father Enrique Climent. (What a great idea btw!)
I was immediatly attracted by Elena’s paintings. Why? Not sure. Probably because of the clear colour palette and the fact that everything looks very mexican. Since i live here these kind of stills strike me as exotic and yet very familiar. Maybe also because the same kind of pictures could’ve been taken by a photographer. Almost journalistically even.
Judge for yourself.
